How do I reserve a study room?
The Kohn Vision Science Library is now offering Study Room Reservations.
Answer
Before you reserve a room please read the following room reservation policies:
- Rooms may be reserved for 2 hours at a time.
- You may have up to 2 reservations at any time.
- Rooms may be reserved up to 2 weeks in advance.
- Rooms may not be reserved when the Library is closed. To see the library's open hours please consult our website.
- Empty study rooms may be used without a reservation on a first come, first served basis. However, if someone else arrives who has reserved the room you must vacate the room. Check the QR code on the sign next to the study room to see the reservation schedule for the room for that day. To ensure the use of a study room we strongly recommend you make a reservation.

- Sign-in to your library account (using your SUNY College of Optometry credentials)
- Select the study room you would like to reserve
- Click "Make a reservation"
- Click the "Check Availability Here" link to see open time slots
- Select the date and time you would like the room (please note that hours are in military time and you may only reserve the room in two hour increments)
- Submit your request
To view or cancel your reservation visit your library account and select the "Requests" tab.
