How long can I check out books for?

Answer

That depends on whether you are a student/alumni or faculty/staff. It also depends on the type of book you wish to check out.

Books in our Reserve collection can be checked out for either 2 hours in the library or overnight depending on how many copies we own. We also have ebook versions of many of the books in our Reserve collection.

For books that are part of our Main collection, students/alumni can check them out for 4 weeks and faculty/staff can check them out for the duration of the semester.

Generally speaking, books in our Reference collection cannot be checked out.
